Dear Subscriber:
Woman Hunter magazine is pleased to announce its first print publication. Finally, we have a hunting magazine published exclusively for women!

What we have done
In this first print issue, we include some of our best electronic magazine (eZine) articles from the past, plus some brand new features. We think it is a good start and we truly hope you enjoy it. But, please, let us know what YOU think.
What to expect (short-term)
This year, we will alternate print editions of Woman Hunter with our eZine editions. Our first print magazine was released in April. Our next publication with new material will be our June eZine. We will also offer an August eZine. Then, in October, we will publish our second print magazine. Finally, our final 2008 eZine will arrive in December.
What to expect (long-term)
We will gradually move into the print magazine market, offering more print issues with each passing year. By 2010, we plan to publish a print hunting magazine for women every other month. So, as we look ahead, we will publish two print magazines this year. In 2009, we will publish four and, in 2010, six. Our ultimate goal is to offer a high-quality magazine for women hunters on a regular basis, one not confined to cyberspace.
Print subscription information
While you do not have to do anything to continue to receive the Woman Hunter eZine, if you want to receive our print magazine, you'll need to purchase a subscription. If you purchase a 2009 subscription, we'll give you five issues (all four 2009 issues plus the October 2008 issue as a free bonus) for $11.99. Otherwise, individual magazines cost $2.99 each.
You can subscribe online or by snail mail. If you are local, you can purchase individual copies at:
- Frank's Great Outdoors in Linwood, Michigan
- Davison Office Products in Davison, Michigan
- Ed's Archery in Clio, Michigan
- Larson's Hardware in Davison, Michigan
- Williams Gun Sight & Supply in Davison, Michigan
- Bowman's Outdoors in Brown City, MI

Our outlets will continue to grow and we'll keep you informed about where you can find Woman Hunter magazine.
eZine subscription information
It is important to maintain your free Woman Hunter memberships because we offer tips and tricks, product review information, surveys, contests and other fun content. In 2010, the eZine will change its format and become an electronic newsletter.
Advertising and promotion
Our first publication was supported primarily by local Michigan businesses. We thank them for their support and for believing in Woman Hunter. We would also like to thank Lost River Game Calls from Kentucky for its same sponsorship of Woman Hunter.
We are striving to gain the support of more businesses, hopefully many of national or regional scope. While we thank Michigan and feel close to Michigan businesses and hunters because of where we are located, we do not wish to be exclusive to Michigan. That is because we know that there are women hunters all over North America who we wish to serve.
As for the appearance of our print magazines, we plan to add more content, to present our print editions in full color and to provide advertiser information similar to that which is found in men's hunting magazines. But we cannot do this without your support.
Mainstream men's hunting magazines have millions of subscribers. We hope that the men who read those magazines and who learn about us will tell their girlfriends, their wives and all women hunters they may know about our magazine. Tell them that Woman Hunter is aimed at women, that it deliberately provides information for the unique needs of women hunters, and offers entertaining articles and features from women's perspectives. Of course, we rely on our members to help spread the word, too. Tell your fellow women hunters about the unique products and set of services that Woman Hunter publications have to offer.
Conclusion
We here at
Woman Hunter thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to grow. As always, we want this to be as much your magazine as it is ours. We invite you to participate, either by sending in your hunting stories, reviewing products or providing recipes. Suggestions, constructive criticism and ideas for Woman Hunter content are always welcome and encouraged. We strive to be responsive to you, our loyal members, readers and subscribers. We sincerely appreciate your support as we continue to work to provide valuable services to women hunters across North America.
Happy Hunting!
