If you are applying for bear in Michigan next year this is important to know. If you have preference points do not put in for a second choice date. the reason. Your points do not count. Nobody knows this but the way it works is everyone one else who picks your second date as thier first gets it before you even if they have no points. I had 2 points my sister in law had none she pulled second hunt I did not, for the same hunt area and date. Beware.
